SW Engineer(graphics/MHL)

PURPOSE OF JOB:
Describe the overall nature and purpose of the job as it exists today.
New feature development and bug fixes in graphics/MHL
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Troubleshoot for 2D/3D graphics or MHL/HDMI associated issues across frameworks, HAL and kernel of Android platform.
2. Develop test applications by scripts, Java or C++ for 2D/3D graphics or MHL/HDMI function.
3. Develop 2D/3D graphics or MHL/HDMI debug tools.
4. Participate in 2D/3D graphics or MHL/HDMI performance tuning.
5. Participate in new platform bring up on 2D/3D graphics or MHL/HDMI area.
Other Participate in 2D/3D graphics or MHL/HDMI feature development.
FUNCTIONAL COMPETENCIES:
• 2+ year C/C++/Java programming experience on Android based mobile products such as mobile phone, tablet, etc.
• Familiar with Android graphics pipline.
• Familiar with Linux kernel, especially driver development.
• Familiar with GIT/Reop.
• Good graphics debugging knowledge and skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills, in Chinese and English.
• Good team work, initiative and responsible.
• Knowledge of OpenGL ES, OpenCL is a plus.
• Knowledge of graphics computing is a plus.
• Knowledge of GPU hardware architecture is a plus.
• Knowledge of OS is a plus.
• Knowledge of MHL/HDMI driver is a plus.
• Knowledge of Qualcomm platform (MSM8960 and upwards) is a plus. |
