This is a position for experienced service engineer in GSC China. The job duties include:

· Provide technical service and support to new and existing customer networks or internal Company test facilities.

· Deliver, but not limited to, the following services (Network design, integration, configuration, verification) and support of multiple technologies/platforms, including products from Company and other vendors.

· Plans, designs, troubleshoot and resolve problems in customer networks.

· Configures and integrates different core network nodes and solutions in new and live customer networks. As well as upgrade the network with new features.

· Expected to identify service improvement within the competence domain.

· Actively identify add-on sales opportunities related to the delivery phases of ongoing projects in order to contribute to extended sales.

· Participate with technical knowledge in presales activities and Business Development opportunities, and thereby assists Core 3 team to contribute to the sales efforts of this team.

· The position requires a flexible travel schedule. All candidates must be available to travel on short frequent trips as well as longer assignments.

· The position is customer facing and requires excellent communications skills both verbal and written.

 

 

· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent

· More than 1 year experience working in software design and integration with Volte/IMS base

· Communication Skills

· Fluent English

· Ability to work in a team environment

· Troubleshooting skills

· Customer service skills

· Ability to learn quickly in a dynamic group working closely with customers

· Ability to work under pressure and in quickly changing environments

· Ability to find and understand relevant standards such as 3GPP and IETF

· Good telecommunications network knowledge

· Good knowledge of VoIP, 3GPP, IMS (CSCF, HSS, MRS, MRFP, MRFC, SBC, BGF, CUDB), IP Sec, TLS, and SIP based applications.

· Good knowledge of IP networking and Internet technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, Radius, Diameter).

· Good knowledge of network management and provisioning (XML, SNMP, Corba, LDAP, SOAP).

· Installation and configuration of servers, routers, and switches highly desired.

· Testing and verification experience a plus.
