Describe the overall nature and purpose of the job as it exists today.

Software Tools Architect is responsible for the whole Android development tool chain design, improvement and new tools technology study, training and build up the technical competence in the SW tools team.

 

1. Actively drive and lead the communication toward difference stakeholders. This include the internal team communication and customer engagement

2. To investigate, evaluate and develop technologies enhancing software development with driving activities that delivers new functionality in accordance with process and quality groups

3. Act as technical leader to support team members. Such as facilitate the code review, given proper comments and solutions

4. To develop and maintain the roadmap of the responsible tool system

 

1. Solid knowledge on programming and system development (Java/C)

2. Good understand of Android SW/System Architecture. Minimum 2-3 years working on Android

Jenkins, Gerrit, Git, Eclipse, GNU make, Android SDK knowledge is requested, continues integration, database, data analysis skill is a plus

3. Sufficient on communication, facilitation and negotiation

  Excellent written and oral English

Other        Basic knowledge on mobile technologies, 3GPP, LTE knowledge is a plus
