PURPOSE OF JOB:
Describe the overall nature and purpose of the job as it exists today.
Overall responsible for the strategic development, operational delivery, human resources and financial management of the Platform Software design unit.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Accountable for competitive platform software delivery result in time, cost and quality compare to our main competitors in the industry
2. Responsible for establishing a strong performance driven working culture with high efficiency and effectiveness in daily operation
3. Act as an influential leader in shaping the company’s vision of technology strategy, work closely with global functions and across R&D sites in the realization of key technology and business initiatives.
4. Secure key competence build up in the site-oriented project execution mode while foster a strong collaborative working relationship with all other R&D sites
FUNCTIONAL COMPETENCIES:
1. Strong track record in software design management with minimum 10 years of leadership experience
2. Exceptional knowledge and skills in mobile software design technology & methodology
3. Able to excel in idea generation, evaluation and prioritization, customer and partner
engagement, cross-functional cooperation and building/ developing great engineering teams.
4. A strong communicator
