Responsible for perform and co-ordinate application acceptance testing: Android CTS, DNLA, MMS,

VT, WHQL, Windows Mobile testing …

 

TA Application Acceptance verification engineer has following main responsibilities:

•       Being experts regarding certification of applications enable

•       Develop testing methods for technologies/standards within the scope of Type approval

•       Support R&D with pre-measurements and technical knowledge

•       Run applicable tests for all applicable SEMC products

 

Responsible perform testing according to Test Plan and report results in our support systems 

Responsible for maintain our test platforms: 

•       Trouble shooting when test systems problems

•       Install new SW and hardware releases

•       Contact with our test systems provider (R&S, Anite, Comprion, Spirent and Anritsu)

 

The verification engineer are expected to:

•       Coordinate and follow up the daily work and report

•       Schedule and prioritize the appointed test activities

•       Reporting test status to TAC, R&D and section managers using our reporting systems

•       Ensure the quality of the work performed in the lab

•       Ensure defects are registered in DMS and TAMS.

•       Support with training activities in the team

•       Monitor the standardization industry for changes in the testing standards and operator requirements

•       Be actively involved in improving and implementing work methods/processes in the team
