You will be joining IT and Test Environments (ITTE) Service Delivery in China.  ITTE has end-to-end responsibility for ICT infrastructure in Company which includes Test Environment as well as having responsibility for the R&D IT Hub delivery in APAC. The R&D IT Hub provides a software development environment as well as required tools and support. Test Environments we manage encompass practically all platforms and standards from the Company portfolio.

 

You will join the service delivery team in Beijing where you will be working in a number of project assignments related to ITTE Services to develop and broaden ITTE knowledge and exposure. You will also be part of an international network and gain overall business understanding and acumen.

 

Our objective is to provide 24/7 local and global remote access to IT and Test Infrastructure, together with the competence and services to provide Efficient and Cost-effective ICT Environments for Internal Company Groups and External Customers.

 

 

· Creation of cost effective solutions by developing, planning, implementing the solution and supporting the other Service Delivery sub-processes (e.g. requirement handling, preparation & setup).

· Continuous development of already existing solutions from a technical, functional and business point of view

· Ensure quality and cost efficient Solutions by reviewing Solutions developed by others.

· Initiate, drive and manage knowledge sharing and innovations within the area of the responsibility of the role (Solution Engineer)

· Build efficiency and effectiveness around solution related activities through sharing knowledge related to solution planning activities and other relevant areas across the ITTE organization.

· Grow the solution planning capability in the organization by mentoring others in the skills required for solution planning.

· Contribute to continuous improvement of the organization through actively driving or participating in improvement initiatives.

There are 3 solutions areas: system, tools and infrastructure.                                       

· A system solution meets a direct requirement from a user and at times may include tools and/or infrastructure in the solution.                       

· A tools solution is either tools required by users within the user organization, or tools used by Group ITTE in the delivery and support of environments.               

· Infrastructure solutions cover the infrastructure and IT services needed to support the delivery and operation of the services. This includes areas like LAN, STP, IP/ATM backbones, Storage, Backup, Access and Perimeter & External Connections.               

Within the IPCC framework work resolve incidents, carry out problem investigations, follow change management process and maintaining the Configuration Management system                         

 

Products/Solutions refer to any Company products/solutions, common infrastructure/IT equipment or tools.                                         

 

 

 

Ideal Experience

 

The ideal candidate will likely have the following experience/educational background:

· Master of Science in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration or similar

·  Fluent English plus one other language (Chinese, Japanese, Korean, French, Spanish, German, etc.)

·  A maximum of 2 years work experience either after or during University Education
