General Description
The role of cost control lead is to perform/drive cost control to ensure high level of quality in costs, coordinate and drive forecast/Budgeting process of the Region in accordance with global standards. The responsibility includes support to drive cost, capital and organizational efficiency.
Main Responsibilities
– Perform cost analysis, control and governance to ensure high level of quality in region
– Drive regional cost control activities and lead process
– Coordinate and drive the cost center forecast process of the Region in accordance with global standards.
– Review and Analyze monthly financial status vs. Forecast/Targets
– Focus on profit/performance improvement with value added services and involvement
– Drive proposals concerning organizational efficiency and effectiveness
– Drive adherence to Accounting Directives, financial policies and common (global) financial processes
– Drive activities to enhance financial knowledge and business acumen within regional operations organization
Main Tasks
· Drive regional budgeting process and cost control leading
– Defining the whole process within the region (Top Down – Bottom Up approach)
– Prepare budget guideline including respective targets
– Prepare time plan incl. a separate process for Common Functions
– Contact SSC for updating RE template with respective actuals and assets
– Prepare of templates used by cost center / unit managers for planning
– Secure that the time frame of the whole budget process is kept.
– Monthly cost analysis/follow-up for region benchmarking
– Track cost directive and deviations follow-up
· Support operations team to drive cost control, operational efficiency, capital improvement and performance improvement
o Prepare Monthly financial updates
o Analyze COS vs. Cost center costs and drive cost controls
o Conduct budgeting/hourly rate forecast/Utilization tracking
o Operations capital program and performance analysis and follow-up

Qualifications
EDUCATION
Master Degree, Administration/Finance or similar.
Knowledgeable in cost control, forecasting process, etc
Ability to communicate in English, as well as openness to and respect for other cultures.
EXPERIENCE
4-5 Years in cost control & business finance area, plus 3-4 years in financial analysis areas, firm auditing experiences as surplus
