The BI Application Architect is an expert on the SOMC BI implementations and will own and drive the roadmap and strategy in the BI area. Responsibilities will include:

•       Reviewing and participating as required in modifications & projects from an Architecture standpoint

•       Reviewing RCA’s and taking action accordingly

•       Initiating projects & modifications with Business Relation Management to improve reliability, security, flexibility, performance scalability and availability

•        Proposing solutions to optimize overall Company costs, including application consolidation, re-use etc.

•       Providing technical advice and guidance to Solution Managers

•       Creating and maintaining roadmap for solution

•       Interacting with SAP in order to maintain technical roadmap

•        Keeping abreast of new technology and market trends

•       Providing guidance and advice about integration capabilities to maintain strategic and consistent approach

Technical expertise allowing for designing and reviewing complex, high performance, large data volume business intelligence solutions.
