Job Purpose:
§   Drive and deliver the strategy, focusing on generating revenue from new and existing customers through delivering efficient and high quality customer-focussed solutions. The strengthening of the team and capability of the office will be integral for this hands-on leader.
 
Key Accountabilities:
§   Delivery
-      Create and develop consulting and professional services practice by productising offerings
-      Lead, direct and manage Practice leads to provide comprehensive solutions to clients
-      Lead formulation of business solutions architecture plans, estimate costs; ensuring projects meet the clients’ strategic needs
-      Define and lead customer engagements and be accountable for their delivery; including taking responsibility for on time, on budget, per specification delivery of significant as well as complex projects
-      Provide expert opinion and resolve escalated implementation issues
§   Commercial
-      Accountable for P&L
-      Work with sales and be directly responsible for activities related to pre-sales and sales in the areas of products/solutions offering, e.g. consulting, requirements gathering, proposal preparation, presentation, etc.
-      Active participant in the sales and negotiation process during the sales cycle, during change order processing or issues resolution during project delivery
-      Identify opportunities in existing client markets
-      Identify offerings to suit Malaysia market
-      Promote company brand to be visible within Malaysian and regional markets
-      Review revenue forecast, current and future projects and staffing needs, open project details, detail steps and issues from customers
§   Customers
-      Develop trusting relationships with senior stakeholders at CXO levels; demonstrating an understanding of their business to assist Sales in creating new business opportunities
-      Achieve a high level of client satisfaction by providing clients with leading-edge solutions and consulting advice
-      Provide leadership on customer engagements; focusing on the customer for all project-related issues
§   Organisation & People
-      Work with HR on:
·      Staff Development & Talent acquisition
·      Staff Retention
-      Provide mentoring for other senior staff within the organisation
-      Inspires and motivates people to create high performance team and exciting work environment
-      Drive and lead a collaborative environment; all teams working towards the same goal and achieving operational efficiency
-      Align work with company strategic goals, develop operational plans and communicatethe direction to the team.
-      Provide operational leadership; “getting your hands dirty” to ensure all objectives are achieved
§   Process
-      Develop and improve engagement processes, methodologies, systems, tools and services to enhance COMPANY Group’s delivery capabilities; efficiency and effectiveness being priorities.
-      Continuously improve business processes and support critical business strategies by directing the development, implementation, and maintenance of business solutions
-      Create and implement quality solutions and measures
 
Functional Knowledge, Skills & Competencies
§   Extensive experience in Retail and/or e-Commerce and/or Software Solutions Delivery (ideally all three) with a Sales/Consulting Leadership foundation.
-      Retail
·      Demonstrated experience and knowledge in Retail industry; able to advise on the market with confidence
·      Proven experience leading projects in Retail departments, including: sales and marketing; supply chain & logistics; category management; procurement; IT
-      E-Commerce
·      Demonstrated experience and knowledge in e-commerce; able to advise on the industry with confidence
·      Proven experience driving and developing the e-commerce industry
·      Successfully lead e-commerce business and implementation projects
-      Software Solutions Delivery
·      Successfully lead engagements delivering complex enterprise solutions; managed full cycle including account management and budget
·      Demonstrated experience in the full-cycle of project delivery; business requirements, technical requirements, design & delivery; quality; production support
§   Demonstrated success in Business Development with new and existing client; establish trusting business relationships with clients
§   Demonstrated experience in business consultation; understand the client’s business, client’s industry, client requirements and provide an appropriate solution
§   Extensive experience as a leader; exhibits energy in building, driving, motivating and developing an organisation or multiple function teams across geographies, towards shared objectives
§   Demonstrated project ownership and accountability; makes sound decisions, delivers and takes responsibility for all outcomes
§   Experience of working with Service Partners, including offshore partners, on projects primed by COMPANY Group
§   Requires willingness to work a flexible schedule including weekend and/or evening work to deliver client requirements

§   Demonstrates professionalism in all actions; able to maintain high performance in a pressurised client centric environment.

Qualifications, Accreditation, Licensing and Training Course Requirements
§   Possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Management or Technology
§   Preferably a Senior Manager in Retail or Professional Services specialising in enterprise solutions
