Job Purpose:
§ Drive and deliver the strategy, focusing ondelivering efficient and high quality customer-focussed solutions. The strengthening of the team and capability of the office will be integral for this hands-on leader.
Key Accountabilities:
§ Delivery
- Create and develop consulting and professional services practice by productising offerings
- Lead, direct and manage teams to provide comprehensive solutions to clients
- Ensure delivery of business solutions architecture plans, estimate costs; ensuring projects meet the clients’ strategic needs
- Define and lead customer engagements and be accountable for their delivery; including taking responsibility for on time, on budget, per specification delivery of significant as well as complex projects
- Provide expert opinion and resolve escalated implementation issues
§ Commercial
- Contribute to the strategy and management of P&L
- Work with sales and contribute to activities related to pre-sales and sales in the areas of products/solutions offering, e.g. consulting, requirements gathering, proposal preparation, presentation, etc.
- Assist Saleswith negotiation process during the sales cycle, during change order processing or issues resolution during project delivery
- Identify potential opportunities in existing client markets
- Identify potential offerings to suit Malaysia market
- Promote company brand to be visible within Malaysian and regional markets
- Participate in review of revenue forecast, current and future projects and staffing needs, open project details, detail steps and issues from customers
§ Customers
- Develop trusting relationships with senior stakeholders at CXO levels; demonstrating an understanding of their business to assist Sales in creating new business opportunities
- Achieve a high level of client satisfaction by providing clients with leading-edge solutions and consulting advice
- Provide leadership on customer engagements; focusing on the customer for all project-related issues
§ Organisation & People
- Work with HR on:
· Staff Development & Talent acquisition
· Staff Retention
- Provide mentoring for other senior staff within the organisation
- Inspire and motivate people to create high performance team and exciting work environment
- Drive and lead a collaborative environment; all teams working towards the same goal and achieving operational efficiency
- Align work with company strategic goals, develop operational plans and communicatethe direction to the team.
- Provide operational leadership; “getting your hands dirty” to ensure all objectives are achieved
