DescriptionDescription
• Sourcing of products (HW, SW, Services) for a certain range of commodities
• Pre-sales support (cost calculations, “pre-sourcing”, establish supplier base, risk handling in line with sales strategy)
• Interfacing with other parts of Company ensuring implementation of best practices and synergies through
co-operation within Company.
• Feed back of Country /Region supplier knowledge, sourcing experience and best practice to knowledge management
system
• Establish, maintain, monitor and develop business relationship with suppliers
• Track spending savings and other related Sourcing KPIs
• RFX sending, collection and benchmark
• Sourcing data base maintenance and updates
• Assist supplier QBRs preparation and other sourcing meetings, participate in supplier assessment

Purpose of job
• To establish commodity and supplier strategies and guidelines in accordance with Company’s business development and technology evolution.
• To ensure that the selection of suppliers and the sourcing agreements reflect the BU/Regions business and
 technology demands.
• To manage and maintain high quality sourcing data base and other sourcing system
• To act as Sourcing key interface to assist business owner and stakeholder from total cost of ownership
perspective

BU’s and Regions, Corporate Functions, Internal demand organization, Suppliers, external support organizations
 
Tools & Resources
CON, READ, MUS, CBS, EB, BW, ONE, MS office

Skills & Competence
-  Honesty and integrity.
-  Fluent in English (both writing and speaking)
-  Business experience/understanding the Country / Regions and telecom business environment
-  Good experience in performing commercial negotiations, signing legal contracts, Managing supplier performance
and follow-up, preferably in Telecom and/or IT Industry, 3 years working experience in Sourcing or Procument is
prefered
-  Experience in project management
-  Good knowledge of the Company organization, products and customers (cross border thinking)
-  Good knowledge of the supplier market in commodities
-  General knowledge of marketing, sales and financial report
-  Good understanding of contract terms and conditions
-  Conflict Management and Problem solving
-  Communication, Influencing, Networking and Analytic skills
-  Strategic and tactical thinking
-  Proactive
