Supplier Quality Engineer

Description

Drive material quality assurance and supplier quality improvement in a proactive way.

Participate in supplier performance improvement team for quality management.

Audit, educate supplier on regular basis for supplier qualification and quality issue handling.

Conduct supplier quality assurance plan at NPI stage or any time when needed.

Utilize QC tools in daily work, include but not limited to SPC, MSA, APQP and 6 sigma.

Prepare and maintain incoming inspection plan.

Handle material quality issue from incoming, production line, NPI and FAE. Activities include claim supplier, drive FA schedule, verify CA effectiveness, and monitor long term performance trend.

Drive claim to supplier for losses caused by defective material

Attend internal meetings for material quality, provide support to the whole organization.

Other tasks assigned by the manager.

 

Qualifications

-Minimum Bachelor degree, major in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering

-Experience in working with multi-international organization

-2 year experiences in Quality Assurance or R&D department

-Experience in using 6 sigma tool in daily work

-Good interpersonal, communication and presentation skills

-Strong capability of driving and managing

-Independent, self-motivated and well organized

-Fluent in English both in writing and speaking
