IAG/DCSG/ ISG/ PED is looking for an experienced Post Silicon Validation Engineer with proven post-silicon engineering skills. Job scope will necessitate direct interaction with ISG's Top tier customers in China for Communications Infrastructure Division (CID). Responsibilities will include providing directed technical training, engaging heavily with customers during their product development and release cycles, and providing on-demand / real time customer debug support with strong debug skill, across Electrical Validation, System Validation engineering functions. You must be fluent in Mandarin and English.

 

You should possess a bachelor or master degree in Electrical Engineering with more than five years experience. Additional qualifications include:

- Deep technical knowledge of Company platform architecture and technologies

- At least 3 years experience in a related validation discipline with focus on silicon or platform level debug and validation

- At least 3 years of working knowledge of High Speed Interconnect specifications & compliance requirements, protocols, I/O circuit architecture and AFE validation/test features

- Ability to identify and overcome highly complex technical challenges through structured problem solving techniques, develop risk tradeoffs, and articulate an informed (schedule and cost appropriate) recommendations

- Proven ability to comprehend customer and internal platform, component plans

- Ability to influence customer and be the engineer to engineer front-end for platform validation team Debugging test failures using a variety of debug tools to perform first level characterization of the issue and identifying the failing component to be either an element of the software stack (Application, OS, Driver, Firmware) or the hardware (CPU, Chipset, Platform)

- At least 3 years of experience with lab equipment such as digital oscilloscopes, VNAs, TDRs, BERTs, meters, and others

- Familiarity with ITP/JTAG protocol, scripting languages such as Python SV and Company® architecture register access/programming is a plus

- Willingness to work across disciplines and geographies to find solutions to I/O problems quickly and accurately

- Interfacing with TME, local engineering teams, and deep expertise validation US teams in providing validation support

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin
