Description
In this position, you will be joining the IAG/ECG Software Development Team as a Software Engineer and will be responsible for supporting Company Acceleration Complex family's hardware platforms as well as enabling business on current platforms. You will be responsible for designing, coding, unit testing and debugging functional model and/or simulator for different acceleration engines. Also you will be involved in Virtual Platform development and deployment for different Company Communication Processor platforms. You will also be responsible for diagnosing and fixing bugs reported by internal/external customers. You will be expected to participate in CMM Level 3 software development practices, including project planning and tracking, development and peer review of written software design specifications, peer review of developed code, test specification and preparation of code metrics.
Qualifications
You must possess a Master Degree in CS or EE.
Excellent C or C++ programming skills.
Excellent problem solving skills coupled with a strong aptitude to learn and innovate.
Good understanding of Software simulation model.
Architecture knowledge of CPU, SOC or Embedded system.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a multi-site team.
The following Skills would be an advantage:
Python Programming Language
Functional modeling language: SystemC, SystemC TLM 2.0, DML
Wind River Simics - Embedded Systems Simulation Platform
Embedded software or driver engineering experience
Specific development experience following formal SW development life cycles
Knowledge of ClearCase, ClearQuest or similar configuration management tools.
