Software Manager

Responsibilities:
We are looking for an experienced and hands-on software development manager who can lead a team of 5-10 designers and has the potential to manage larger teams. You will be working in a fast expanding company in the unified communications industry, and have the opportunity of delivering innovative products and growing a young and enthusiastic team to its maturity. You will use your technical, management, and people skills to
· Understand product scope and prioritize features
· Drive solution, architecture, and software design and make technical decisions
· Ensure on-time and high quality delivery of product development targets
· Facilitate continuous growth in your team’s technical competency
· Coach and mentor your team members to help them grow in their career path
· Be the contact point and represent your team in projects requiring international cooperation within and outside Company
Qualifications:
· Master Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
· 8+ year experience in software development.2+ year experience of managing a team of 5-10 people
· Good experience of recruiting, coaching and mentoring team members
· Experience of managing a full product cycle from product definition to design, implementation, testing, release, and sustaining
· Strong technical background in the following areas
o Software architecture
o Communication protocols such as XMPP, H.323, SIP
o Audio/video/image processing
o UI and user experience design
· Excellent English skills both in written and oral
