LTE Firmware SW DEV Engineer

-Contribution to definition of FW modules
-Design, documentation, implementation and verification of LTE FW modules
-Regular execution and observation of test results
-Complex system issue analysis and correction in cooperation with Chip, Algorithm, Firmware and PS experts using equipment traces and debugging tools
-Support and maintenance of FW modules, including analysis of questions and defect reports from customers
-Implementation of build- and release management tasks
Qualifications
-Bachelor/Master degree in Electrical Engineering or Information Technology required
-Main focus on Telecommunication Engineering desired
-Sound knowledge in embedded software design (C/C++ and Assembler)
-Experience with structured and object oriented software development methods

Sr. Eng-Protocol Stack Analyze

The role of Protocol stack analyzer Engineer is to the phones products with the focus on log analysis from protocol stack view.
For the issue report that probably caused by protocol stack, Bug tracing/analyzing/reporting.
Improve protocol stack knowledge and methods for the team, and invent/implement best practice patterns for protocol stack.
Qualifications
Typically requires a BS degree in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering and 6 years of experience or an MS degree and 3 years of experience. Must have debugging experience for GSM/GPRS protocol, strong plus for the same experience for UMTS/HSPA.
The position requires detail understanding of communications systems including both 2G and 3G protocol stack, ability to evaluate wireless communications systems through lab testing, data logging, and handset log analysis manually and through post processing tools.
- Have the overall and deep understanding for the protocol stack of GSM/GPRS/EDGE/WCDMA in 3GPP.
- Have the deeply understanding for Layer1 messages with the development or testing experience.
- Responsible for log analysis from upper layer of Protocol Stack(GSM/GPRS/EDGE, etc) on the mobile phone product.
- Responsible for urgent and Critical issue debugging on Protocol Stack, point to the area for error happened in protocol stack.
- Working closely with Software Project management team, and other protocol stack development team to make sure the issue is assigned and followed.
- Plus skill and preferably with programming experience in C/C++.
- Excellent problem analysis, judgment, solving skills; Proactive, team working and strong ability on learning.
- Strong customer orientation skills, even working together with customers for show stopper issues.
- Good in verbal and written English.
- Have the willing to travel for urgent issue.
