Job Description
OAM System I&V Engineer in Radio and Core Network Area
OAM System I&V Engineer in Optical Transport Network Area
· Design test strategy based on customer spec and product requirements
· Write test specification and develop test tools
· Setup and maintain test environment, integrate the O&M system including installation and configuration
· Perform tests, debug node/system issues and verify compliance of interfaces and features
· Propose software product improvements from customer view
· Support certification and customer site activities including travels on demand
· Work in cross-unit and cross-functional team environment to achieve quality goals and service support goals
Qualifications
Radio and Core Network Area
· BSc or MSc in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or Telecom
· At least 3 year working experience in Radio and Core Network OAM Area
· Good knowledge of 3GPP 32 series protocols
· Experienced use for UNIX environment, Sybase DB, CORBA and Perl/Shell/Python scripts
· In-depth knowledge and experience of integration test, testing method with excellent troubleshooting skills
· A good team player, open, flexible and result-oriented
· Fluency in oral and written English is a must
· Tester experience in Radio and Core Network NBI area or familiarity with Chinese Operator OAM Specs and NMS would be a plus
Optical Transport Network Area
· BSc or MSc in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or Telecom
· At least 3 year working experience in Optical Transmission Network OAM area
· Good knowledge in TMF814 standards
· Experienced user for HP-UNIX, Linux environment, CORBA and Java scripts
· In-depth knowledge and experience of integration test, testing method with excellent troubleshooting skills
· A good team player, open, flexible and result-oriented
· Fluency in oral and written English is a must
· Tester experience in Optical Transport Network NBI area or familiarity with Chinese Operator OAM Specs and NMS would be a plus
