Project manager office CBC/XKO is a part of PDU Common Component R&D center, located in Beijing and is responsible for overall project management within PDU CC. The project manager office plays very important role as it lead all kinds of projects management, controlling and tracking
Job description
The senior SW project manager will work under the project manager office and work with the line manages and external stakeholders as if needed. He/She will be fully responsible for the whole project, from project initiating, project planning, project execution, project monitor/control to the final project close-out. He/She will manage the scope/schedule/budget/cost/risk/quality of the project so as to make sure the project is under track and deliver the final product on time under budget and with good quality, and finally satisfy all stakeholders.
Following are the key responsibilities:
- Overall responsible for the project through the beginning to the end
- Mainly focus on project planning ( including resource planning, budget planning , schedule planning etc) , project execution, project monitor/control
- Project budget and actual cost controlling and management
- Risk and Quality Management
- Continuously improve development and testing process, tools and environment to ensure the delivery with top class efficiency.
- Ensure high working spirit and good communication within the project.
- Team working and build up strong relationships with all relevant internal and external customers and partners.
Qualifications
- Master of Science or equivalent
- More than 6 years' working experience in project management area of R&D
Competence
- Solid experience within the telecommunication
- Accountable for delivery commitment through project management
- Traceable record for the successful project management experience
- Thorough understanding and experience on project management process and applicable processes, methods and tools for development and testing
- Strong project management competence and excellent communication skills
- Can generate energy and has a passion to win
- Strongly push for excellence
- Good experience from change management, excellent teamwork and good cooperation
- Proactive, self-motivated and able to work under pressure
- Excellent skills in written and spoken English
