MSS is seeking a Design Environment/Configuration Management support engineer. You will work in the MSS project office team on the daily support of Hardware and Software design tools to MSS and MDM design team.
Responsibilities:
Maintain MSS hardware and software design environment including SCM/Clearcase, Matrix, and other R&D tools.
Develop new tools/scripts required by MSS R&D activities
· Work with IS Unix system administration team to make sure a stable and effective design environment is available.
Qualifications
· Good understanding on software and hardware configuration management.
· Experienced on IBM Rational ClearCase and/or other source code control tools.
· Experienced on Matrix and/or other hardware product lifecycle management tools.
· Solid knowledge on GNU Make, GCC/G++, and/or other compilers.
· Good experience on Shell and Perl programming.
· Knowledgeable on UNIX system administration
· Strong communication. Fluent in English and Chinese.
· BS in Computer Science or equivalent and 3+ years' related experience
· Strong organizational, excellent teamwork skills
Load Build Engineer

Description
MSS is seeking a load build engineer. You will work in the MSS project office team on the daily management of MSS and MDM load build, provide SDE support to MSS and MDM design team.
Responsibilities:
· Maintain and enhance MSS/MDM ClearCase development environment including SirCC, permission control, code submission, loadbuild scripts, make files, branch creation, Guru, VOB request and creation.
· Build regular MSS/MDM and sandbox load, checkpoint and update design team.
· Monitor the SW integration process and fix any problems during the process, improve it whenever possible.
· Work with IS Unix system administration team to make sure a stable and effective software development environment is available.
Qualifications
· Good understanding on software configuration management concept/process and software integration.
· Must be experienced on IBM Rational ClearCase and/or other source code control tools.
· Solid knowledge on GNU Make, GCC/G++, and/or other compilers.
· Good experience on Shell and Perl programming.

R&D Software Engineers for Data Product Development

Actively participate in the development of products on data communication system and solutions based on the customers' requirements and take responsibilities in:
• Customer's requirement analysis and system impact investigation
• New data products design/development
• Existing data products development support and new features development
The chosen candidate will work with the team to ensure the software releases are delivered on time, with high quality.
Qualifications
• Bachelor degree or above in Electrical/Electronics or Computer Engineering/Sciences
• At least 1 year S/W development experiences or equivalent telecom industry working experiences
• Strong analytical/problem solving capabilities with proven software development/debugging skills
• Knowledge in data communication or telecommunications;
• Object-Oriented analysis and design skills; Strong C++ programming skill
• Good English language comprehension in both oral and writing with appropriate interpersonal skills to work in a team environment
• Appropriate interpersonal skills to work in a team environment
• Working experience in base or application layer software development of L2/L3 switches will be a plus
• Working experiences in real time system development will be a plus
