R&D SW Design Engineer, TD-LTE

Responsibilities:
- SW development in TD-LTE L2/L3 area, including both new feature design and trouble (bug) report solving.
- Write SW design document (low level design) for implementation, based on system design document or raw test specification.
- Use C/C++ to do coding and unit test L2/L3 SW component in the Linux/Unix environment.
- Write test case for loading module level test and debug/troubleshooting
- Debug and support troubleshooting problems in the target environment for integration/verification or later phases.
Requirements:
- Minimal 3 years’ experience in mobile communication field. (Radio access network of TDSCDMA/WCDMA/CDMA or GSM/GPRS experience is preferred). Work experience in LTE L2/L3 area i.e. MAC/RLC and above layer is a big plus, or minimal 5 years’ experience in wireline communication SW development.
- Solid C/C++ work experience, preferably have written and debugged over 5k quality C/C++ code in the past one year. Work on product of code size more than 300k with good understanding of most parts of the system.
- Solid RTOS knowledge and work experience. The experience with embedded linux is preferred.
- Solid develpment experience in linux/unix environment. Good linux/unix scripting experience is a plus. Clearcase experience is also a plus.
- Have strong sense of responsibility and result driven. Can pick up new area fast, be adaptive and work independently in a challenging area.

R&D System Design Engineer, TD-LTE L23

Responsibilities:
- System solution design for Company TD-LTE L23, including both new feature design and trouble (bug) report analysis.
- Break down TD-LTE RAN level requirement or high level customer requirement into L23 level solution. Draft L23 system documents accordingly.
- Design L23 new architecture (or propose architecture improvement) according to product roadmap, characteristics requirements and traffic models.
- Analyze trouble report, especially in KPI problems. Support SW design and I&V engineer in troubleshooting.
- Act as a technical leader in a small team to coordinate tasks and mentor junior colleagues
Requirements:
- Minimal 5 years’ work experience in mobile area with at least 2-3 years’ SW design experience and 3-5 years’ system design experience.

R&D SW Design Engineer (Linux Kernel Platform Development for TD-LTE)

Responsibilities:
- Design a high-performance adaptive layer on top of Linux kernel. Make application program written on non-Linux environment run transparently without porting.
- Debug and pin-point performance bottleneck and memory issues together with application program. Do code optimization accordingly.
- Possible optimization to Linux kernel for performance needs.
Requirements:
- Minimal 3 year work experience in Linux C programming and debugging, include debug skills of kernel functions.

This position participate system level product integration and verification of Company WCDMA or TDD-LTE product. This position requires WCDMA or TDD-LTE knowledge and system integration and verification background.
Responsibilities:
The candidate will execute WCDMA Node/RAN level or TDD-LTE L2/L3 level software integration and verification, which includes requirements analysis, feature analysis and testing cases development, L2/3 test bed development (specified for TDD-LTE), verification environment setup, problem troubleshooting & solving as well as feasibility and verification document written. Position(s) Purpose:
This position is within the area of system level software integration, verification and customer support of Company WCDMA or TDD-LTE products. The Senior engineer is expected to not only contribute to the daily aspects of the ongoing projects they work in, but also in continuously improving aspects of the products, competence of the organization and ways of working.
Responsibilities:
The candidate will be responsible for WCDMA Node/RAN level or TDD-LTE software integration, verification and support. This covers the whole development cycle including requirements analysis, test strategy, analysis, planning, definition, execution troubleshooting and support.
- Work as a technical test coordinator or test leader to define the product integration and verification strategy to meet the global market requirements in terms of time, functionality and quality.
- Work with other teams outside of I&V involved in the development life cycle to develop a common understanding of the requirements, resolve issues and develop aligned plans.
