Description
Within the System Management unit of Technology department in Beijing we are looking for an extremely motivated technical manager, who wants to be involved in promoting Company technology leadership, develop new technologies and innovation actives in the region.
The mission of this unit is to drive Company technology leadership in Region China and North East Asia by industry thought leadership and engagement with Company global technology communities & local leading customers.
Focus areas are driving Internet Of Things technology programs in the region.
Responsibilities
· Support the Company China and North East Asia in performing innovation and promoting Internet Of Things and M2M technology leadership actives
· Actively explore, propose and develop solutions required for new project opportunities
· Manage the technical aspects of the technology strategy, architecture evolution and solution development with local operators
· Drive joint study or joint R&D projects within Company and with operators
· Secure new ideas by actively working with business innovation and patents in the projects
· Contribute in both local and global standardization bodies
Qualifications
· At least 5 years work experience from technical implementations in innovation projects in end-to-end M2M application and/or Mobile Internet application
· Preferable industry experience: Government, Health Care, Transportation or Utilities
· At least 2 years experience on Agile SW development and object oriented programming
· Familiar with one or several of the following domains:
- Industry vertical or mobile Internet application that using API or network protocol from operators' networks
- Service delivery platforms
- Internet technologies (e.g. HTML5)
· Good understanding of standardization activities both in China and 3GPP
· Excellent interpersonal and customer management skills. Prefer to have cooperation experience with telecom operators
· Self-motivated, flexible and fluent in English and Chinese both oral and written |
