Summary of Job
Support to worldwide teams on design and development of test hardware / software for Automated Test Equipment (ATE)
Essential Functions:
- Technical support to worldwide test engineering teams on test hardware/software and software control process -
- Administration of volume licence manager for LabVIEW and provide support to worldwide test engineering teams -
- Define and develop standards for test software development process for release, control and maintanance -
- Coordinate with IT to provide worldwide support on various issues related to ATE, network, security etc. -
- Lead test engineering team to conduct effcienct test cycle time.
- Work with worldwide test teams on test engineering process improvements
Secondary Functions:
- Coordinate worldwide teams on LabVIEW training -
- Design and development of test hardware and software which also includes, -
A Coordinates construction and debug of test hardware and software, release, documentation
B Evaluates test equipment hardware and software for performance in manufacturing environment
C Works with design engineering to correct design related issues
- Performs other duties as needed
Education –Minimum required level
BS in Computer Engineering OR Electrical Engineering
Knoeledge and skills 1-Required
- Experience in programming automatic test equipment (ATE) using C/C++ programs
- Programming experience using LabVIEW software
- Experience in interfacing with IEEE and PC based data acquisition equipment
- Experience in design of electronic / electrical circuitry
- Strong understanding of computer operating systems, networks and architecture
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge and Skills 2 – desired but not essential
- Experience in high volume manufacturing environment
- Experience in TQM ( Total Quality Management)
Travel:
To travel nationalwide facilites to train and work on improvement projects - 10%
Other key considerations:
In addition to the above, the position requires a proven ability to work under minimal supervision and a high level of motivation.
Regulation Engineer

REGULAR RESPONSIBILITIES
Review of the marketing specification, industry standards and development of product requirements.
Evaluation/design of new power converter/ inverter topologies for better efficiency, power density, cost, and reliability
Implement and verify control arithmetic for system performance, stabilization and efficiency.
Develop documentation of design, calculations, modeling, analysis, and control algorithm development.
Develop work instructions and procedures for use in the field for design validation and performance
evaluation. .
Communicate with power electronic team on technical issues and solutions. .
Support any failure root cause analysis on the existing UPS systems and recommend cost effective
corrective actions. This may include recommending new power circuit designs and control algorithm
developments.
SPECIFIC ISSUES: Such as work base, frequency of traveling, etc.
Requirements:
Technical competence and a track record of strong coding and individual technical accomplishments. .
Experience with integration of hardware and software, including debugging software-hardware interaction and the development of hardware device drivers. .
Excellent software troubleshooting experience and hardware debug skills. .
Experience with hardware bring-up and use of basic test equipment desirable. .
Experience with C development in resource-constrained embedded environments.
Ideal:
High power electronic digital control experience, such as communication power supply, UPS, chargers,
inverters, or photovoltaic inverter, active power filters.
Master the power electronic converter topology, such as Boost/Buck, three-level, half-bridge or full bridge.
Experience on DSP, ARM, MCU control strategies the number theories, PID and repetitive control.
