Description
Responsible for delivering Fab68 sustaining construction projects using multiple project delivery and execution strategies at a competitive advantage.
Responsibilities include project planning, directing, and coordinating activities pertaining to building, facilities construction and equipment installation projects. Responsibilities may include development of the contracting strategy, project scope, schedules, approval requirements, project budgets, quality and change controls; Develops timeline of project approval requirements. Interacts with customer staff, coordinates resources and schedule. Manages the indirect budget, forecasts trades resources, resolves resource conflicts, and coordinates trades mobilization. Engaged in contract and legal negotiations, incident investigation, staff safety training, and project assessment. Ensures projects are completed according to project plans. Manages project team resourcing and training.
Qualifications
You should possess a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering. You should possess mobility to support both short and long term assignments, domestically or internationally, now or in the future, may be required to meet Corporate Services Construction dynamic and rapidly changing Project work load. Additional qualifications include:
- 5+ years construction industry experience (semiconductor/chemical project experience is preferred)
- Fluent in English (communication, reading and writing)
- PMI (project management institute) certification is preferred;
- Detailed Planning, Scheduling and good written/verbal communication skills
- Construction along with Process and/or Factory Operations knowledge would be an added advantage
