Description
System Design on Broad Band Access networks. Mainly on Ethernet switching, transport and aggregation products.
Job Description
- Developing architecture for platform as well as software components
- Breaking High Level customer needs into E2E solution requirements and white papers
- Developing characteristics requirements and reference traffic models
- Developing Implementation plans in collaboration with design teams
- Working as technical lead in key development projects
Qualifications
Required Competence / Experience
- Excellent knowledge of Communication systems and their design
- Minimum 5 years experience in Telecom networking areas; e.g. Carrier Ethernet, Broadband Access or IP Routing with proven industry experience.
- Solid programming in C/C++
- Excellent understanding of L2 and L3 ethernet related protocals
- Strong leadership and teamwork skills
- Excellent written and oral English skills
- Experienced in systems or software development in broad band access
- Rich system level experience in one or more of below areas:
- System and board level HW design, better with Linux kernel / driver experience
- L2 / L3: data plane, protocols (bridging related / routing related / MPLS related)
- EMS (element management system)
