Description

Within the System Management unit of Technology department in Beijing we are looking for an extremely motivated technical manager, who wants to be involved in promoting Company technology leadership, develop new technologies and innovation actives in the region.

The mission of this unit is to drive Company technology leadership in Region China and North East Asia by industry thought leadership and engagement with Company global technology communities & local leading customers. 

Focus areas are driving IP/Evolved Packet Core/Smart-Pipes technology programs in the region.

Qualification

 ·         Min. 5 years experience in a relevant technical areas (e.g. Packet Switched Core Network, Evolved Packet Core, Policy and Charging Control, Fixed Mobile Convergence), with proven experience of System Architect and Design in Telecom industry

·         Good understanding of Internet technology (e.g. IP, routing & LAN switching, security and TIC/CDN) and mobility (e.g. mobile IP, GTP)

·         Good understanding of standardization activities both in China and 3GPP

·         Excellent interpersonal and customer management skills. Prefer to have cooperation experience with telecom operators

·         Self-motivated, flexible and fluent in English and Chinese both oral and written

 Responsibilities

·         Performing technology development & innovation and promoting IP/Evolved Packet Core/Smart-Pipes technology leadership actives in Company China and North East Asia

·         Manage the technical aspects of the technology strategy, architecture evolution and solution development with local operators

·         Drive joint study or joint R&D projects within Company and with operators

·         Secure new ideas by actively working with business innovation and patents in the projects

·         Contribute in both local and global standardization bodies
