Product Manager

Responsibilities:
The Product Manager is responsible for product development and HR for Product team locally.
· Validates and follows-up on planning agreed by local teams
· Validates and follows-up on development decisions made by local teams
· Reports activity of their teams, and escalates where necessary, to local Country Manager and to TPM
· Supports Delivery and Support departments in solving issues with locally managed products (escalation mode)
· Trains local teams on technical and procedural matters
· Makes sure that all locally developed releases have all the parts required by the quality procedures
· Initiate good practices and innovative solutions
· Work closely with other R&D centers and make sure the company targets and developments direction are understood
· Aware of all R&D projects
· Tactical planning and prioritization
· Recommends, develop standards and procedures to provide a flexible and cost effective operation
· Solve development issues, deadline issues while managing risks
· Make sure the relevant information is pushed down to the team leaders or team members and keep them in the loop
· Participate into all Products Architecture & Design Improvement efforts by making relevant architecture & design proposals to product management
Mandatory Requirements:

MISSION :
You will join the Web team based in Beijing. You will be working with the Design team that are based in Paris (France). All communication will be in English and so you are required to have a good Level of spoken and written English. Your mission consists of:
- Development of Web applications. (PHP, AJAX, Javascript)
- Page formatting with XHTML and CSS2.
Web Team Manager is able to work from a brief from Head of UI, but at the same time, will be able to act as an autonomous project leader, tackle innovation areas, study a competitive environment, test and understand new devices, and eventually come up with ideas and concrete proposals to create new user experiences. Work closely with the designer in headquarter and carry out Company standard UI requirements strictly.
Reporting directly to the Software Development Manager and functionally reporting to Head of UI in France, it interacts closely with marketing and product development teams and is likely to interact also with sales and top management.
