Responsibilities
Resource owner of SCM engineers and PM&T (Process, Method & Tool) engineers. Responsible for competence and capability build-up for the whole team. Maintain and promote team morale and motivation.
Responsible for SCM and tool support WoW & disciplines, driving operational excellence in these 2 areas.
Overall responsible for DUIB Beijing SCM tool infrastructure strategy and implementation. Working as prime interface towards R&D IS/IT, DUIB PM&T and external tool suppliers.
Align team strategy and vision with R&D Operations strategy and vision.
Participate project steering group meetings at different level, taking and dealing with project escalations on SCM and tool support areas, towards product development units and node development units.
Keep tracking of DUIB Beijing license cost level towards R&D IS/IT.
Being a member of R&D Operations Management Team
Requirements
Masters degree in Telecommunication, Computer Science or equivalent
A minimum of 5 year working experience in software industry and configuration management
A minimum of 3 year working experience in people management, proven leadership skills
Familiar with source control, release activity and configuration management tools, Understanding of system configuration management standards, sound knowledge of SCM technology and tools
Familiar with Basic ClearCase is mandatory, knowledge of UCM is preferred, Familiar with build system, Makefile
Strong working experience in a Unix/Linux environment, Knowledge of C/C++ programming
Excellent communication skills and social ability
Fluent in English speaking and writing
