Job Description: Plans, provides resources for and directs activities in engineering function to meet schedules, standards, and cost. Cultivates and reinforces appropriate group values, norms and behaviors. Identifies and analyzes problems, plans, tasks, and solutions. Provides guidance on employee development, performance, and productivity issues. Plans and schedules daily tasks'' uses judgement on a variety of problems requiring deviation from standard practices. Inadequacies and erroneous decisions would cause moderate inconvenience and expense.
You should possess a Master of Electronic Engineering degree with six years relevant experience, or a Bachelor of Electronic Engineering degree with eight years relevant experience and three years or managerial experiences. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience with server mother board design, signal integrity, and/or have experience determining root causes of tough technical issues. Additional qualifications include:
- Managerial skills for performance management, motivating the team etc.
- Solid understanding of Company Company® Architecture platform architecture
- Good knowledge of the working principle of components on desktop or server platforms
- Strong expertise of verifying desktop or server products in functional, electrical, stress and environmental aspects
- Rich knowledge on environmental and reliability test, reliability theory
- Good verbal and written communication skills in Mandarin and English,
- Experience in Multi-Geo collaboration, stakeholder management
- Experience in multifunctional communication with Server board design, BIOS/FW and chassis development teams
- Experience on ODM (Outsourced Design Manufacturing) management
- Test tool development skill would be an added advantage
