Rack mechanical engineer

Summary Of Job:
Actively participate as key team member on NPD Team designing Rack System products and/or Accessories for Data Center Environments, over-seeing cost reduction projects, and qualifying sourced products per Marketing and Sales plans.
 
Essential Functions:
  • Develop design documentation, including engineering drawings and Bills Of Materials for the release of mechanical assemblies, sub assemblies and components including sheet metal, plastics, and accessaries for Rack System.
  • Use Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) and Database Management tools for product development.
  • Build and test prototype and qualification level assemblies.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical and logistical issues.
  • Support aggressive product development schedules
  • Interface with tooling engineers to develop custom fabricated parts.
  • Interface with NPD manufacturing engineers to introduce new products to the factory.
  • Interface with electrical and firmware engineers during design phase.
  • Work as part of a team.
  • Work with minimal supervision.
 
Secondary Functions:
  • Assist in component selection and qualification for various parts being used on NPD programs.
 
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Education – Minimum Required Level:
  • Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, advanced degree preferred
 
ExperienceMinimum Required:
·         3+ years experience of Rack/Cabinet design and drafting.
 
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS 1 – REQUIRED:
·         Knowledge of industry trend, advanced process, suppliers and manufacturers.
·         Demonstrated knowledge of the Solidworks CAE system.
·         Creative problems-solving and diagnostic/troubleshooting abilities.
 
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS 2 – DESIRED BUT NOT ESSENTIAL:
  • Knowledge of Rack System for data center application

SUMMARY OF JOB:
This is a strategic electrical engineering position where your technical expertise will be used to improve the quality and design of COMPANY power products. The qualified individual will be working in a dynamic and innovative technical environment. The team interfaces with Design and Manufacturing engineering to enhance product quality, improve reliability, and increase customer satisfaction. As a member of the team you will drive continuous improvement of products and processes using the appropriate quality tools.
 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Responsible for the resolution of product performance issues, lead the resolution of Critical Issues and heavily support the resolution of Red Alerts associated with Product Quality
Conduct statistical analysis of failure
Act as a customer advocate within the organization
Identify the problems related to unsatisfactory performance of the products in the field / customer sites.
Conduct technical analysis of prominent failures in order to understand the nature of defect and propose corrective solutions.
Collaborate with manufacturing to resolve workmanship and supplier issues as well as working with Design Engineering to address design issues and incorporate requirements/testing into development cycle as appropriate
Collaborate with regional teams to ensure that products meet customer quality expectations – develop plan to address gaps
Provide field performance data to PMP team to ensure that product performance issues are corrected in subsequent release or new project
Conduct evaluation of alpha and beta units and provide feedback to the PMP team.
Conduct technical analysis associated with RFA process and generate report
Interact with team leaders in Customer Care Center to identify and review trends in product performance issues, based on symptom information
 
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION – MINIMUN REQUIRED LEVEL:
Diploma in Electrical/Electronics Engineering/B.E.-Electrical/Electronics
 
EXPERIENCE – MINIMUM REQUIRED:
4-6 years for Diploma or 2+ years for BE
Experience in an electronic manufacturing environment is a plus

SUMMARY OF JOB:
Lab Supervisor will be overall responsible the lab activities, inculding Lab resource schedule management, lab/office building facility maintain/management, test equipments maintainance and etc; management Lab engineer and technicians to implement test standard, confirming the test requirements with engineering team and DVT/QA engineer, to perform/achieve product test purpose as required; Technical guide the technicians to set up and conduct the test, test results evaluation and analysis for solution, overall response for Lab EHS.
 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
l         Overall Perform people daily management and lab operation management in Lab
l         Perform equipments/facility management/maintain tasks base on lab technical resource
l         Arrange/management lab test schedule to leverage resource to achieve the test per request
l         Generate and update the facility/equipments maintain/inspection procedure
l         Response for Lab Safety Assurance
l         Guide/discussion with lab engineer to Conduct tests on cooling products in accordance with established engineering test standards. Responsible to support manufacturing and the field through corrective action to improve product design and/or reduce product and production costs.
l         Reviews test requirements, objectives and test results with Lab engineer, QA engineer and/or Engineering Team.
l         Review with Lab engineer to Implement tests procedures and uses appropriate test equipment to achieve test objectives as directed by DVT/QA and/or Engineering Team.
l         Work with minimal supervision

l         Lab Budget plan and cost manamgement/tracking

OB QUALIFICATIONS
 
EDUCATION – MINIMUN REQUIRED LEVEL:
l         Bachelor's degree in Automation/HVAC/Refrigeration Engineering or equivalent.
 
EXPERIENCE – MINIMUM REQUIRED:
l         Lab and 3+ years of people management experience
l         5+ years experience in air conditioning industry/
l         Experiences with Facility system management
l         Experience with refrigeration system optimization.
 
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS 1 – REQUIRED:
  • Huge Knowledge of Facility management/maintain of Power supply system, Air/com system, motor/pump water system, and Auto-control system.
  • Familiar with Lab facility construction; Familiar with Cooling lab and relative equipments operation and maintenance

  • Problems-solving and troubleshooting abilities to HVAC system.
  • Good technical writing ability in both English and Chinese.

SUMMARY OF JOB:
Technicla lead by Lan engineer to perform whole UUT(Unit Under Test) test activities. Performing facility/equipments maintainance activities per Supervisor’s administration. Support engineers to complete relative prepare and closure works.
 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
l         Operating the machine system to perform Cooling product Lab test activites base on test plan.
l         Perform equipments/facility maintain tasks base on maintainance plan
l         Support engineers to setup test conditions and relative prepare works
l         Record/summarize water, electric power, LPG.. consumptions
l         Support engineering team to assemble working samples per project requirements
l         Perform daily inspection/check for building/facility/equipments per procedure

UPS regulatory engineer

SUMMARY OF JOB:
Provide regulatory engineering review, planning, testing and report
administration for new product development efforts.  Ultimately
responsible for the execution of regulatory approval activities for the
group.  Work requires expert knowledge of safety and EMC regulatory
standards, engineering skill, and independent judgment.
 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Train appropriate product development staff on regulatory requirements and test methods.
  • Perform all needed regulatory tests (within capability of internal lab) and appropriately document results.
  • Gain regulatory certifications on new and newly revised products; including TUV, UL, CSA, FCC, VCCI, and VDE.
  • Coordinate the testing of new products in outside certified laboratories.
  • Support laboratory equipment needs and records upkeep.
  • Support follow up activities in factory locations as required.
  • Learn new regulatory standards and document salient interpretations.
 
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION – MINIMUN REQUIRED LEVEL:
·         EE background preferable (not mandatory.)
 
EXPERIENCE – MINIMUM REQUIRED:
·         5+ yrs experience in regulatory engineering function
·         Expert command of requirements in Low Voltage Directive, EMC Directive,
