Define HVAC work scope before project commencement

Help to prepare man hour estimation and schedule

Define deliverables for project stages

Prepare CTR according the work scope

Prepared design basis (BOD)

Validate client input, such as BOD, conceptual design and spec. etc.

Prepare HVAC project specification

Prepare material requisition, datasheet and TBE

Discipline man hour and schedule control

Ability to prepare equipment specification

Daily work arrange, monitoring and guide to engineers

Ensure the final deliverables to meet project/ client quality target

Ensure the final deliverables to be submitted within planned schedule

Prepare or review HVAC flow diagram

Prepare equipment/ duct/ pipe layout sketch

Review deign information as output for other disciplines

Prepare discipline weekly report and monthly report for project

Ability to optimize the HVAC system as client expected

Technical support for field construction and prepare as-built drawing

Capable to solve the technical problems independently during design/engineering and construction

Identify potential issues having negative impact on the project regards to HVAC progress, quality and cost in advance

 

Knowledge / Experience / Competencies Required

Job Specific Knowledge:

•     HVAC depth knowledge pertaining to heating system, ventilation system and air conditioning system design, include heating/cooling load calculation, duct/pipe sizing and equipment sizing.

•     MR preparation, include equipment / material specification, datasheet

•     International standard knowledge, such as ASHRAE, is preferred

Industry Specific Experience:

•     Better with background of Petrochemical and /or onshore/ offshore oil development

•     Recognized DI working experience for 12+ years

Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:

•     The major is HVAC and national registered engineer

HSE Capability:

•     Have the knowledge of HSE general requirement

IT Skills:

•     Microsoft word, excel   and  AutoCAD R15 or above

People Skills:

•     Capable of spoken and written in English and skilful in interpersonal relationship

Other:

•     Team work spirit and top quality commitment\

•     Work proactive and positive attitude

•     1+ years work experience as a HVAC engineer on construction site

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES OF POSITION:

       Assist lead/senior engineer to prepare material requisition, datasheet and TBE as required by lead            

       Ability to prepare equipment specification with assistance of senior engineer             

       Arrange, monitoring and guide to assistant engineer        

       Ensure the final deliverables to meet project/ client quality target          

       Ensure the final deliverables to be submitted within planned schedule         

       Prepare deliverables follow project spec. or BOD       

       Prepare primary HVAC flow diagram             

       Prepare equipment/ duct/ pipe layout in detail according to the flow diagram             

       Prepare deign information as output for other disciplines         

       Ability to optimize the HVAC system under the instruction from lead/senior engineer         

       Technical support for field construction and prepare as-built drawing           

       Capable to solve the technical problems with the help form senior engineer during design/engineering and construction        

       Prepare equipment list and MTO           

       Prepare HVAC details       

       Vendor document review
