Description
In this position, you will be responsible for the engineering and designing of mechanical and processing systems for semiconductor fabrication facilities including support buildings and systems with varying complexity. Work includes taking various levels of responsibility for and participation in the development of, project scope, budget and schedule. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to: - Providing technical direction to outside A&E firms throughout the project design phase, interface with site user groups, other engineering disciplines, local municipalities and/or utilities, trade contractors and other project stakeholders - Performing regular field inspections during construction and will monitor the project during construction to ensure that it is within agreed scope, schedule and budget and that the work is being performed to Company policies and expectations
Qualifications
You should possess a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with five or more years related experience, PE is preferred. Additional qualifications include: - Team player with excellent communication skills - Ability to work effectively within a variety of management levels, between the customer (Company) and the contractors, as well as outside clients and vendors - Effective at problem-solving, include problem-solving methodologies, research strategies, logical reasoning, critical analysis of information and cooperative learning - Strong verbal, written and presentation skills - Strong interpersonal skills or teamwork abilities - Experience in design and construction of clean room HVAC, plumbing and fire protection systems - Experience in construction contract documents required which includes development of design drawings, specifications, requests for proposal and startup procedures - Experience in construction estimating, control philosophy development, mechanical, plumbing, fire and specialty codes, environmental and construction law - Expertise in control philosophy development, mechanical, plumbing, fire and specialty codes, environmental and construction law would be an added advantage |
