Senior Test Engineer(healthcare)

 

 

He/She will work closely with PM, LPI, V&V lead, dev team and other parties of the program. Works as a senior individual contributor or leads part of V&V team to complete verification and validation of the product. One of the main responsibilities is to take charge of performance and reliability test, including designing the test strategy according to technical architecture and other factors, developing test scripts, executing test and debugging issues. Rich experience of no less than 3 year in software development will be a mandatory.

Duties include (but are not limited to):

Works with upstream marketing, PM, LSD, LPI, etc, to understand product and schedule requirements.

Creates verification and validation plan according to product and schedule requirement.

Leads the team to develop test flow and associated test cases according to SRS, DRS, verification plan, release note, etc.

Works as individual or lead the team to execute test cases on product builds, raise SPRs to track defects

Lead performance and reliability verification, including test strategy, scripts and debugging

Works closely with design engineer to track, filter and verify resolved SPRs

Conducts test summary and create test report for test activities

Understands test process and adhere to it. Recommend process improvement to increase test quality and improve test productivity.

Aware of and comply with the COMPANY Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position

Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines

Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required

Drive compliance/closure of Regulatory and Quality requirements before approving Design Outputs/Program Deliverables

Champion continuous improvement activities by initiating process and product quality improvement initiatives

Proven leadership experience of leading a group/team

BS or master of Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent

At least 6 years of experience with >3 years as senior software developer

Knowledge of software development process and test procedure

Highly team oriented; able to thrive in an agile development environment with few barriers to creativity. Passion for quality with a testing

Effective communicator capable of describing and documenting proposed solutions

Strong analysis ability

Proven ability to learn new technologies

Fluent oral English, strong reading and writing ability

Work experience in HCIT 

In-depth working knowledge of patient/customer product-related clinical applications and scientific/engineering methods/theory/Healthcare IT standards with an affinity for technology and clinical solutions
