Responsibility:
Installs, modifies, and makes minor repairs to personal computer hardware and software systems, and provides technical assistance and training to
1.        Able to replace PC hardware components and insure the system is functioning properly.
2.        Inspects personal computer equipment and reads order sheet listing user requirements to prepare microcomputer for delivery.
3.        Installs or assists service personnel in installation of hardware and peripheral components such as monitors, keyboards, printers, and disk drives Loads specified Company standard software packages into computer.
4.        Responds to client inquiries concerning systems operation and diagnoses system hardware, software, and operator problems.
5.        Recommends or performs minor remedial actions to correct problems.
6.        Coordinates activities with help desk, network services, or other information systems groups.
7.        Provides updates, status, and completion information to manager, problem request tracking system, and users. 
8.        Replaces defective or inadequate software packages. Refers major hardware problems to service personnel for correction.
 
Requirement:
Strong  understanding of PC desktop, Microsoft applications including but not limited to Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, desktop OS.
Good problem solving skills
Able to take direction and to prioritize tasks
Works well with others
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Ability to manage stressful situations
3+ years Desktop Support or relevant systems support experience
College degree or equivalent preferred
