OAM System IV Engineer
Description - Design and develop test strategy, integration plans and test plans - Write test specification and test scripts. - Integrate the O&M system including installation and configuration. - Perform tests, debug node/system issues and verify compliance of interfaces and features. - Work in cross-unit and cross-functional team environment with system engineer and software designer.
Qualifications Qualifications - BSc or MSc in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or Telecom. - At least 3 year working experience in OAM/Telecom related work. - Familiarity with UNIX environment and Perl/Shell scripts. - In-depth knowledge and experience of integration test, testing method and technologies in development project. - Excellent troubleshooting skills. - Be open, flexible and result-oriented. - Good team player with ability to work in a high workload environment. - Fluency in oral and written English. - Be constructive to provide good suggestions for technical and non-technical issues. Domain-specific competence (Require at least one domain related competence): Transmission Network - At least 1 year experience in optical transport network management system O&M software test area. - Good knowledge of MTNM TMF814 protocol and SDH, MSTP and WDM Technology IP Network - At least 1 year experience in packet transport network management system O&M software test area. - Good knowledge of CORBA, SNMP, SOAP, NETCONF or CMIP based network management models - Good knowledge of database such as Sybase, Oracle
OAM NBI System Management Engineer
Description This position is responsible for system management for OAM related product development - Provide OSS expertise to make sure OSS node design and development align with Company OAM strategy from technical perspective - Responsible for system architecture and solution, including 3PP SW and HW evaluation. - Responsible for requirement management in the project, e.g. interpretation of customer and internal requirements and coordination of related activities. - Support standardization activities in relevant standardization bodies. - Be technical interface towards 3PP developers - Support product management with OSS and NBI expertise - Work in cross-functional team and cross-unit environment.
Qualifications - BSc or MSc in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science - At least 5 years of relevant working experience, or equivalent, minimum 3 years in system level working experience - CORBA, C/C++, JAVA programming experiences with UNIX environment - Expertise in DBMS, such as Syabse or Oracle. - Deep knowledge and experience in fundamental system modeling, OOAD concepts and Rational tools - Solid knowledge in network management protocol, such as SNMP, SOAP/XML, CORBA/XML, NETCONF/XML - Strong skills to drive tasks and solve problems independently. - Be open and result-oriented with good teamwork spirit - Good communication and presentation skills - Strong verbal and written communication skills in English - Company OSS knowledge (preferable) Domain-specific competence (Require at least one domain related competence): Transmission Network - Deep understanding with NBI related specification. e.g. TMF814(Mandatory), TMF513(Preferable), TMF608(Preferable), 3GPP(Preferable), 3GPP2(Preferable) - Minimum 3 years experience in Transmission networks (WDM, SDH, Metro Ethernet MEF, MSTP, VLAN etc), with proven industry experience and major contribution to at least 2 tasks in related areas. IP Network - Industry experience in the following areas or technologies: Routing, L2 & L3 VLAN, MPLS, ATM, RADIUS, etc, with major contribution to at least 2 tasks in related areas. - Deep knowledge (Preferable) in SNMP and NETCONF/XML
OAM NBI Software Design Engineer
Description - Responsible for SW design and implementation for related OAM products, including related design documentation. - Responsible for unit test, component test and integration test for related OAM products. - Participate in system solution evaluation and system I&V test strategy evaluation. - Work closely with system engineer or I&V engineer for any technical issues.
Qualifications - BSc or MSc in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science. - At least 3 years of experience in object oriented programming and system design - Strong programming and debugging skills & experience in C++/JAVA or script - Familiarity with Unix/Linux environment and Perl/Shell scripts - Experience with software development tools - source code management, debuggers, profilers, build and scripting tools under Unix/Linux environment. - Working experience of Rose and UML (Preferable). - Experience in database, such as Oracle, Sybase or mySQL - Experience in OAM software development. - Good team player with ability to work in an extremely fast pace with high pressure. - Fluency in oral and written English - Open and good at communication, actively provide good suggestions for technical and non-technical issues Domain-specific competence (Require at least one domain related competence): Transmission Network - Good knowledge of Network management protocols (SNMP, CORBA, UDP, TCP/IP) - Proven industry experience in Transmission networks (SDH, WDM, Metro Ethernet MEF, MSTP etc), with major contribution to at least one non-pure-academic task. - Good knowledge in TMF 814 (Preferable). IP Network - Good experience with CORBA, SNMP, SOAP, NETCONF or CMIP based network management models - Direct experience (Preferable) in developing IP equipment management system S/W, such as MPLS, L2/L3 VLAN, VLL/VPLS LSP |
