Description
 
Education:  Typically requires BS (EE/CS) or Equivalent; MS (EE/CS) or Equivalent is highly Desirable. CCIE certification highly desirable
Experience: 12+ years related Industry experience in both networking and telecommunications market segments. Redback, Cisco, Alcatel-Lucent, Nortel, Huawei or Juniper product knowledge and solutions positioning required. Competitive product experience (Cisco, Juniper, Alcatel, Nortel, and Huawei) in China market is required. Pre-Sales experience required. Wireless experience highly desired.
In-depth technology knowledge of and strong operating experience in all of the following solution areas: Broadband networks, IP Routing, Metro Ethernet, MPLS/ATM/FR, Network Security, xDSL/FTTx Access, 2G /3G Wireless Access, Multi-Service platforms (Voice and Video), Wireless network components, Transmission Systems, Network Management.
In-depth technical understanding and conversant in: IP Networking technologies, Metro Ethernet, broadband network, IMS, SBC, DPI, telecommunications systems, OSS, and wireless technologies as they apply to the Greater China market.
Thorough industry knowledge including competitive solutions, technology, product offerings, competitors, market landscape, product strengths/ weaknesses, opportunities, threats, etc. within the Greater China market.
In-depth knowledge of Consulting engineering, Systems Engineering, proof-of-concept, and product management skills with at least 8 years experience of selling networking solutions to MUGC customers, directlyor indirectly.

Qualifications
  • Excellent partnering skills and be able to liaison between various solutions areas and sales organization setups. Able to identify & qualify sales opportunities, then take initiative with account team to secure business that leads to revenue generation.
  • Ability to work effectively, add value as a team member and assume a leadership role for the team. 
  • Ability to understand complex technical and selling situations and the ability to solve the problem or solicit the required resources 
  • Able to generate technical presentations and articulate them with account team, technical team, customers, and partners, without guidance 
  • Excellent English and Mandarin Languages written and verbal communication, lisne tening,  gotiation and presentation skills
