Company develops innovative products and services within the field of IPTV

and the digitally connected Home (The New Home).

 

 

China R&D Systems and Technology unit in Beijing is further strengthening its team in the IPTV domain in order to support the establishment of the IPTV business in China.

 

 

The main responsibilities are:

 

Support the Market Unit in China in performing technology lobby activities

Support in translating user/customer requirements & service functionalities into technical requirements

Drive customer requirement analysis and technical solution design and implementation strategy in R&D

Act as primary interface internally towards business manager/product manager, externally towards customer counterpart for technical discussion

Act as technical leader during customer technology trials and prototyping projects

Analyze local market trends in the TV domain (e.g. technology, regulation, business models) and identify impacts on current offering

Secure new ideas by actively working with patents in the projects

Acts as coach, ensures knowledge sharing and transfer to junior team members

 

 

Qualifications

 

Master degree/PhD in telecommunications, media technology or computer science

Strong track record of system architect working experience in the IPTV product development

Consultative behavior, business minded and strong team spirit

Excellent interpersonal and customer management skills

Execution-oriented, able to put theory into practice, willing to try out new paths

Fluent in English and Chinese both oral and written
