Description
The Sourcing Engineer is responsible for the sourcing activities to ensure that Company has the optimal suppliers and conditions on the market by finding the lowest total cost for the Company group. The Sourcing Engineer is responsible for all sourcing activities within R&D product scope across commodities.
Below, the major tasks are listed.
· Responsible for strategic sourcing.
· Responsible for NPI/TPI projects within R&D product scope globally.
· Responsible for supplier selection.
· Responsible for commercial agreements availability.
· Drive and coordinate the annual negotiation.
· Drive supply chain optimization.
· Drive for continuous cost reduction.
· Responsible for supplier audits.
· Ensure Company competitiveness by creating lowest possible cost totally.
· Analyse cost structure to ensure lowest component cost.
· Monitor technology & commercial evolution in the industry
Qualifications
· University qualification or above, preferably within Electronic Engineering.
· Excellent skills in business management awareness.
· Comprehensive knowledge of technologies.
· Strong leadership and communication skill.
· Initiative and positive personal personality.
· Proven experience in sourcing and supplier management.
· Fluent in English speaking and writing.
