In this position, you will be supervising contract employees who provide physical security, control access, and provide fire and other safety systems protection to safeguard company personnel and assets. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Ensuring compliance with security regulation compliance and interface with outside law enforcement agencies
- Handling new security programs and projects, audits, and systems training as assigned by the Security Manager

 

You should possess a relevant educational qualification. Additional qualifications include:
- Appropriate tertiary, technical or managerial qualification or equivalent experience
- Ability to apply systems knowledge to facilitate resolution of operational issues
- Detailed knowledge of key elements of physical security systems, including access control (equipment and panels), CCTV, alarms, software interface and badging
- Knowledge of computing programs, UNIX and electrical engineering
- Advanced knowledge of the principles and practices within the security field
