Responsibilities:

 

Individually contribute to the development of a hardware product from the requirement phase through the field-sustaining phase. This would encompass.

1.       Specification of hardware requirements;

2.       Circuit design and analysis using schematic capture and FPGA design tools;

3.       Directing PCB layout;

4.       Prototype verification using lab instrumentation;

5.       Supporting regulatory approval;

6.       Manufacturing introduction and sustaining.

 

He/She must be able to work in a team environment with marketing, manufacturing, and other engineering disciplines such as system, software, and mechanical. Must be able to work with outside contract developers.

 

Requirement:

1.       Bachelor or Master degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent;

2.       2+ years solid experience in developing hardware-based products;

3.       Good communication skills, teamwork;

4.       Must have strong verbal and written communication skills, including Chinese and English.

 

Technical Skills

1.       Must be experienced with schematic capture, HDL-based FPGA development, PCB development, and manufacturing productization.

2.       Must be familiar with EDA tools(OrCAD and PADS).

3.       Must be experienced with embedded system hardware design and debugging, familiar with TI DSP/ARM/etc chipset and periphery circuit.

4.       Must be experienced with EMC test, experience with FCC-B qualified design are desirable.

5.       Experience with video, audio, telecom, image sensors, analog, and wireless technologies are desirable.
