Job Summary
INTEGRATION ENGINEER - IP (Global Service Centre, China)
The Job Focus on IP Products in Company
Carry out intense testing to certify solution’s suitability and readiness for deployment.
Provide onsite and remote support, troubleshooting, implementation and rollout.
Conduct network and system audits or assessment.
Work with Project Manager to identify the scope of work for projects.
Perform knowledge transfer to internal staff.
Handle various levels (high, detail & low) of documentations and Knowledge Based Article.
Perform problems replication and product faults identification.
Interact with external and internal customer(s) during various stages of support and implementation.
Travel is required to other mainland China cities and overseas countries. About 50% of travelling time is expected.
Based either in Beijing or Guangzhou, but subject to company decision it may be relocated to other cities if needed.
It is not required now, but in future may be required to provide customer support case handling.
Qualifications:
Degree holder or above in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline.
Around 3-5 years hands-on networking experience in supporting or deploying router and Broadband Remote Access, or large routing solutions.
Strong background in IT environments and sound understanding IT issues.
In-depth knowledge of Networking Technologies such as BGP, MPLS and L2/L3, VPN, IS-IS, OSPF, L2TP, PPPoX, Radius, DHCP, ATM, Frame Relay, IP sec, IP Multicast, Firewall and Security etc.
Working skills in UNIX/Linux is an advantage.
Previous exposure of VoIP/SBC/IMS is a definite asset.
Familiar with network analysis tools and test equipment.
Possess diagnostic and troubleshooting experience.
Hands on experience in Juniper, Cisco, Extreme and Huawei equipment would be an advantage.
Independent but also a good team player with strong interpersonal, communications and presentation skills.
Good customer management skill and able to deal with difficult and complex situations.
A quick learner with sound implementation skill, drawing upon one’s creativeness and resourcefulness.
Fluent in spoken & written English and Chinese. |
