The requirement for this job position is to develop and maintain the infrastructure tools and resources for Company Packet Core products.
As a software engineer, you need to work closely with Product Owner as well as Packet Core product developers/testers to develop infrastructure solution to support product development and testing. Your work will include but not limited as follow:
l Work together with PO and team to develop new infrastructure tool or feature to fulfill product needs, build better development and testing environment, speed up development loop.
l Troubleshooting and bug fix
l Collect feedback from product developers and testers and continuously improve infrastructure tools and resources.
l Maintain and support current infrastructure tools and resources, such as web portal, virtual node and resource pool.

Experience/knowledge within the following areas is required:
l Work experience with Linux/Unix system
l at least one of following programming language: C/C++, Java, Erlang
l at least one script languages: python, perl
l knowledge in network programming
l git, svn or clearcase
Experience/knowledge within the following areas is a plus:
l Automation testing tools development
l knowledge in MySQL, NoSQL
l knowledge in distributed system development
l Knowledge in core network and 3GPP protocols
l Knowledge in Agile, SCRUM
Tools developer for 3G and 4G Packet Core network

Responsibility:
* Collect, study and clarify requirements from Packet Core development units
* Design, develop, and maintain test tools of Packet Core to ensure on time on quality delivery
* Continuously improve the efficiency and usability of test tools
Continuously extend and optimize test tools
* Coach customers or developers on test tools usage
Competence:
* Good programming competence in Python, Perl or other mainstream languages.
* Good understanding on SW engineering
* Good knowledge on Linux and UNIX (Solaris).
* Good knowledge on Telecommunication Core Network or Radio Access Network
