NDO SP Integration and Verification Engineer (Beijing)

Responsibilities:
l Act as an I&V (Integration & Verification) Tester in delivering high quality features on Company’s next-generation IP Routers.
l Participate and provide feedback in product design review meetings.
l Develop test cases to ensure that new features and products meet specifications.
l Participate in a cross function team to deliver features with high quality within the project schedule and resource constraints.
l Work closely with software developers to reproduce, analyze, and debug internal bugs found during feature testing as well as customer issues found in the field.
l Track and report upon testing activities, including test results, test case coverage, resource changes, defects discovered and their status, automation completion, script review & handoff.
Qualifications & Requirements:
l Understand existing I&V processes and drive improvements throughout the organization.
l Good knowledge of Router/Switch product
l Good knowledge of L2/L3 protocols such as Ethernet, MPLS and IP.
l Strong scripting skills in Perl.
l Analyze requirements; develop test plans and test cases to ensure that new features and products meet specifications.
l Good in executing test, finding & reproducing issue.
l Experience in using Traffic Generating tools like Agilent, IXIA
Successful candidates will have
l BS/ MS Degree or above in Computer Science, or equivalent working experience
l 3+ years of software test experiences or equivalent telecom industry working experiences
l Good English language comprehension in both oral and writing with appropriate interpersonal skills to work in a team environment |
