Senior IP & Broadband Network Solution Support Engineer

Job Objective:
To be responsible to provide maintenance and support as well as solution global deployment activities on IP & Broadband network solution according to E/// business solution strategy and customer requirement.
Responsibilities:
Work closely with service delivery and operation organization to support on Evolved IP Network(EIN) and Software Defined Networking(SDN) Solution global deployment, participate customer solution design, migration procedure design, lab verification and on-site integration.
Work on solution maintenance and support area to handle customer support service delivery as global Tier II incl. handling customer issue from live network in end to end solutions
Work with technical sales support team to enagage with customer unit on solution sales business win
Work together with solution system management team, to gather and analyze customer inputs and identify solution improvement ideas
Be responsible to spread knowledge in team with comprehensive experience and understanding from different product areas.
Select and propose 3rd party products/tools for the Solution scenarios.
Be responsible for continuously keeping competence and skills up to date.
Qualifications
· Master degree in Computer Science, Optical, Electrical Engineering, Telecom, or equivalent theoretical background acquired through experience and/or in any other way.
· Solid knowledge of Packet core, IP, Backhaul,Microwave and Optical network
• Expertise with at least two of the following areas:
MPLS: LDP, LSP, L3VPN,L2VPN, RSVP, MPLS OAM
L3 Routing : IPv4, IPv6, OSFP, BGP, IS-IS
Multicast: IGMP, IP multicast, MPLS multicast.
L2: Bridging, LAG, LACP, xSTP, ERP, MEF, 802.1ag
· Experience of customer solution design in IP & Broadband area is preferred
· Experience of 2G, 3G CS core network is preferred
· Experience of 2G/3G radio access network is a plus
· Certificate of Cisco, Juniper, and HuaWei Datacom products is a plus.
· Rich customer support/engagement experience is a plus.
· At least 5 years of relevant product and solution design or verification/customer support experience
· Strong team-work and willing to take challenge.
· Self-motivated to drive and push from concept to implementation
· Open minded and innovative to new ideas
· Good command of English (verbal and written) and customer communication skills |
