PDU IP Routers is part of DU IP & Broadband within BNET. Head office is placed in US with development also in Canada, China, Hungary and India.

PDU IP Routers leads the Switch, Router development within Company with SSR (Smart Services Router), SE (Smart Edge) and SP (Smart Packet) as current products.

In NDO SP we have the full PLCM (Product Life Cycle Management) responsibility for the SP(R) products. The organization consists of several hundred employees focusing on SW design, HW design, system design and test for development and maintenance of our MINI-LINK SP products. The organization is based in Beijing, China. We are right now in an exciting time pushing new functionality in our existing product generation and in the same time working hard on our next platform generation. We run our development in programs and using our agile WoW.

Now we are looking for software engineers who will actively participate in the development of NDO SP(R) products based on the customers’ requirements and work with in Xft:s (cross functional teams) to ensure the software releases are delivered on time, with high quality.

 

•       Strong analytical/problem solving capabilities with proven software development/debugging skills

•       Extensive knowledge in data communication or telecommunications

•       Good knowledge of Router/Switch architecture

•       Solid understanding of IP and TCP/UDP/ICMP protocols (including header contents and protocol flow concepts)

•       Extensive working experience in understanding/developing OAM, L2 and L3 protocols such as MPLS, IP, Ethernet

•       Object-Oriented analysis and design skills; Strong C/C++ programming skill

•       Analyze requirements; develop test plans and test cases to ensure that new features and products meet specifications.

•       Experience in using Traffic Generating tools like Agilent, IXIA

•       Good English language comprehension in both oral and writing with appropriate interpersonal skills to work in a team environment

•       Appropriate interpersonal skills to work in a team environment

•       Working experiences in real time system development will be a plus

 

BS/ MS Degree or above in Electrical/Electronics, Computer Science, or equivalent working experience

3+ years of software development experiences or equivalent telecom industry working experiences
