PURPOSE OF JOB: 
Describe the overall nature and purpose of the job as it exists today.
The System team in Beijing is responsible for platform bring up, urgent and difficult issue trouble shooting and KPI issue analysis such as Power, Performance and Stability. We are a team of skilled engineers with full competence in mobile area from system layer to Application layer.
We are now searching for several experienced developers to join our team and work within the overall mobile software area. Mostly focus on:
• Drive architectural solutions and decisions for software project
• Overall responsible for the SW platform architecture and architectural requirements
• Responsible for technical direction and advice on branch strategy (towards SW System PM)
• Actively participate in legacy asset selection, bring up and new feature development
• Define system requirements KPIs such as Performance, Power Consumption, Thermal,  and ensure consistency with project directive
• Escalate and report technical issues and malfunctions
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. • Involve to define system requirements such as Performance, Power Consumption, Thermal, and ensure consistency with project directive
   • New feature(include KCL) impact analysis
   • System deliverables definition and review (memory budget, system design specifications)
   • Lead platform bring up and vendor integration
   • Drive PICS/PIXIT release to TA, and support TA issues handling
   • Support patch review on new/legacy feature, PLF vendor delivery, Google release
   • Lead task force for cross function issue fix per project need
   • NV management and NS forum interface
   • Take technical interface towards PLF vendor include review and manage cases
   • Lead activity to tune power/performance/stability KPI to meet target
   • HW configuration/design review
2. Leadership Skills:
   • It’s required to be in position to lead software platform concrete developing activities, such as bring up/VI/task force/workshop  etc., and drive any issue/investigation to fix in a given time
   • Be able to lead technical discussions, secure win-win conclusions and help others make a difference (i.e. supporting others learning curve, provide strategically advice etc)
   Communication Skills:
   • To be in position to describe, verbally and in written text, technical complex issues and solutions in English
   • Has excellent communication skill with other teams, such as FAT/HW/PM
