•       Understanding of the L4 protocol stack - data path(incl. TCP/IPv4v6) for modems, Socket interface communication

•       Knowledge of 3GPP specifications like 24.008, 24.007, 27.007 and 27.005, 11.11 and 31.102, 31.111,51.014, SS Specifications(22.xx, 23.xx)

•       AT command interface

•       Thorough understanding of C2C communication protocols – HSIC, SSIC, PCI Express, LLI controllers and protocols.

•       Knowledge of Android RIL logs and Android architecture for Modem interfaces

•       Knowledge of RTOS (or Linux Kernel), basic understanding of multi-core implementations (ARM), DMA programming, power management techniques, basic Embedded Systems programming concepts and ARM processor concepts Cortex A7, MMU and Cache, performance analysis

•       Programming in C, configuration management in GIT/Gerrit

•       Problem analysis and debugging skills in an embedded system environment, crash analysis, and the use of a debugger like Lauterbach, using Oscilloscopes for  verification of power characteristics, HW debugging using Logicanalysers(e.g. Anite) and PCIebus analysers.
