Describe the overall nature and purpose of the job as it exists today.

ODM SWPM to manage ODM project SW delivery

 

1. Driving SW Dev with vendor and internal customer in terms of Scope, Time plan, quality and cost.

2. Manage SoMC security solutions in term of S1, Security, DRM and Fota with SoMC Sweden team.

3. Manage SW team to deliver SoMC requirements and SW features to ODM vendor.

4. Driving and Following up the ODM project, Reporting project status and KPIs, clarifying Requirement/Scope towards vendor

5. Resources/Cost Estimation internal/external, Overall SW quality responsible. Should report the KPI's and SW dev. status.

Other.  Manage vendor to keep platform stabilization aligned with chipset vendor 

            roadmap.

            Response for manage all product SW issues, hold meeting, prioritize and

            tag critical/SS issues and track issue fix status in product lifecycle.

            Manage SOMC development team feature delivery review, design the

            delivery quality criteria and follow up with ODM development team.

            Be the First filter of all issues request to tag by different team, plan and

            facilitate issue prioritization meeting .

            Tracking both SOMC internal development team and ODM partner status of

            tagged issues fix progress.

            Drive SW KPI improvement.

 

1. Experience of Product SW scope planning, understand how to manage SW scope.

2. Technique background, understand Android structure, technique not process oriented.

3. Experience of managing outsourcing company. Clearly understand how to coach vendors.

            Understand end users behavior for how they use the phones in different    

            countries and markets.

            when problem happens.

            More than 3 years Software Project management experience.

            Good communication, influence, conflict management skills.

            Fluent in English.

            PMP is a plus.
