Describe the overall nature and purpose of the job as it exists today.

Software Tools PM is responsible for managing/facilitating all projects in SW tools team and  support manager for daily team management.

 

1. Actively drive and lead SW tools projects to success including project planning, execution, resource management and etc. Negotiation/communication with Lund, Tokyo and Beijing to make sure SW tools project progress on-track.  Help team members resolving problems/issues. Report/escalate problem to higher management team if it cannot be fixed in project level.

2. Daily management issue supporting. Resource allocation.

 

1. Good communication skill, team work spirit. Solid knowledge on project management. PMP is a plus.

Excellent in oral and written English.

2. Familiar with mobile industry, Android stream and tool chain. Familiar with tools using in the development procedure, such as GIT/Gerrit, Jenkins, C2D. Development background is a plus.

3. Good understand of test strategy. Experience in validation/verification domain is a must. Familiar with ODM industry and knowledge on supplier management.
