Essential Functions:
We are looking for an experienced product manager who will be responsible for the strategic direction and evangelism both internal and external for the global and country specific capabilities of firewall traversal solution.
The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of international business experience and technical savvy; a big picture vision and the drive to make that vision a reality. The candidate will research the market to understand trends and customer behaviors as well as stay current with all regulatory and fiscal changes that may impact the product. The candidate will be responsible for the definition, management, messaging and positioning of your product within the various cross functional teams within the company.
Experience in enterprise or carrier software is desirable as is familiarity with collaboration tools.
QUALIFICATIONS(Include education,technical expertise,skills and experience required)
Job Requirements:
• Defining global strategic direction and priorities for the Company RealPresence Real Presence Access Director (RPAD)
• Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates our approach in the market;
• Sales enablement ¨C communicate the value proposition of our global approach to the sales team and develop the sales tools and detailed materials that support the selling process of country specific functionality;
• Market intelligence ¨C be the expert on the local country specific commercial and fiscal requirements in all existing and target markets, how this is evolving; be the expert on your competition and how to crush them;
• Analyzing potential partner relationships to further our global proposition
• Solution alignment and delivery ¨C align with other relevant products within the Company portfolio to deliver a complete solution to market
Qualifications/Requirements:
• 5+ years of software product management experience with at least 2 year¡¯s experience in a field facing role
• Knowledgeable in Global Business Requirements
• Bachelor or MBA in business or marketing desired
• Very strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues and cross-functional teams, and third parties.
