Describe the overall nature and purpose of the job as it exists today.

As Transfer Project Manager your task is to own and drive transfer projects between factories as per the defined transfer process within SOMC, between global factories and from global to local manufacturing.

 

Additionally you would be regarded as the expert when it comes to transfers and will step into product projects when transfer decisions are made.

 

Main deliverables to secure during transfers,

-        Secure time to market as per commitment and own the transfer plan

-        Own and govern the transfer project

-        Material preparation and execution

-        Secure optimal production process at receiving site as per the defined requirements.

-        Secure NPI activities at receiving site

-        Monitor and secure the ramp at receiving site

-        Secure support to receiving site

-        Secure communication and adherence to transfer checklist and mile stones.
